About UP Athletics & Rehab – Your Vancouver & Kitsilano Kinesiologist

Helping people in Kitsilano and Vancouver move better, recover from injuries, and feel stronger in their everyday lives.

Living in Vancouver means most of us want to be active — whether it’s cycling to work, hiking the North Shore, running along the Seawall, or just keeping up with the kids. But pain, injuries, or even just feeling “off” in your movement can hold you back. And when recovery stalls, it’s frustrating not knowing what the next step should be.

That’s where I can help. I’m a BCAK-registered kinesiologist with over ten years of experience working with people who want to feel confident in their bodies again. My approach is simple: find out what’s really causing the problem, get you moving in a way that feels safe and strong, and guide you toward lasting changes — not just quick fixes. My clients leave sessions feeling clearer about their progress and confident in the steps ahead.

Who I Work With

I work with people from all over Kitsilano and Vancouver, including:

Why Active Rehab Makes a Difference

Physio and massage often help with the early stages — pain, inflammation, and restoring basic mobility — but many people are left wondering how to actually get their strength, coordination, and confidence back. That’s where active rehab and exercise therapy in Vancouver come in.

In our sessions, we work on:

  • Strength and mobility training that matches your body and your goals.
  • Functional movement retraining — preparing your body for the things you actually do every day.
  • Steady, safe progress so you can keep doing what you love without setbacks.

My Background

I began my kinesiology journey in 2013 at UBC and am now completing my Master of Athletics and Clinical Kinesiology. Over the past decade, I’ve worked with diverse clients — from post-surgery patients to competitive athletes — always with the same goal: provide no-nonsense, effective, and personalised guidance that delivers measurable results.

I’m committed to combining scientific precision with a supportive, encouraging approach so that every session moves you closer to your goals in sport, work, and everyday life by restoring strength, mobility, function, and confidence in movement.

If you’re in Kitsilano or anywhere in Vancouver and want to recover well, move better, and improve your performance — in sport, work, or everyday life — I’d be glad to help you take the next step toward lasting strength and resilience.
