ICBC Active Rehab Coverage – Vancouver Kinesiologist

If you’ve been injured in a car accident in British Columbia on or after May 1, 2021, you’re eligible for pre-approved active rehab sessions with a registered kinesiologist — fully covered by ICBC during the first 12 weeks following the crash.

Past the 12-Week Coverage Window?

You may still qualify for additional ICBC-funded kinesiology sessions, but these must be approved by your ICBC case manager. Once approved, your sessions remain completely free of charge.

Just send us your ICBC claim number, and we’ll coordinate directly with ICBC to request coverage and get your active rehab program started.

Private Active Rehab & Fitness Rates

• Single Session: $150
• 5 Prepaid Sessions: $135 per session ($675 total)
• 10 Prepaid Sessions: $110 per session ($1,100 total)

All sessions are one-on-one with a registered kinesiologist and tailored to your goals — whether you’re recovering from injury, improving mobility, rebuilding strength, reconditioning after time off, or working toward performance goals.

Booking & Expiry:
Prepaid sessions can be scheduled at your convenience and are valid for 3 months from the date of purchase.

Payment Information:
Payments can be e-transferred to nadia@upathletics.ca and are due at least 24 hours before the scheduled session.

Cancellation Policy:
Please provide 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid a session fee.

Insurance Coverage:
Many extended health plans in BC cover kinesiology services.
This may include providers such as Sun Life, Pacific Blue Cross, and others.
To confirm your coverage, contact your insurance provider or your workplace benefits department.

Tax Information:
All prices include tax.

3 sessions per week:
Is best for someone who has an upcoming goal and wants to achieve that goal in a shorter time span. Example: Someone who is experienced with movement and wants to get ready for an event.

2 sessions per week:
My favorite training frequency. It is best for those at the early to intermediate level of exercise experience. It is
the optimal frequency to allow for learning movement, achieving continuous progress, and making the most out of your training sessions.

Each private session is 45 minutes.

ICBC sessions are 45 minutes.

Your exercises are well-thought of and carefully planned before each session; they are based on your goals, your body response during the previous session, and what is best for your unique needs.

We don’t offer online training. We believe that in person training is the most effective method for achieving exceptional results.
